Lucid Dreaming: Is there enough research done on its social implications?

I have been doing a deep dive in lucid dreaming research and I have noticed a gap in lucid dreaming research regarding the social applications and implications. I was just wondering if you agree that there’s a lack of exploration in this area? If so, what are some steps or directions you think researchers could take to try and fill this gap?
