I’m not able to remember my dreams

I’m 32 years old, and since I was about 8 I have been curious about dreams, and going to bed with the intention most nights to remember my dreams. Fast forward to today, I have a journal close by and write down every dream I can remember. I work with a mentor who helps me interpret my dreams. Still, I only remember one or two dreams a week. Then, after I started asking my dreams questions about life patterns I’ve had, I stopped remembering them completely. I do have an extreme and extensive trauma background, and wonder if that would get in the way of recall, or maybe there is another reason?

Hi Ashleigh,

Some people have had success in remembering their dreams by using this suggestion:

“Tonight I will easily recall my most significant dream, and easily understand it.”

Best wishes!
