In a lucid dream I asked to meet a being with independent consciousness. A tall woman appeared. I asked her if she was dead and she said yes. I then asked her if where she lived was more or less pleasant than earth and she said it was more pleadant. I asked her if she would look after me on earth and she said no. She was polite but not that interested in me. Her appearance changed a bit while I continued to look at her. I found this fascinating, I have no idea if it’s possible she was not a part of me but I keep an open mind and will continue questioning DCs and the dream itself.
Interesting lucid dream, which reminds me of Carl Jung’s comment:
“Philemon and other figures of my fantasies brought home to me the crucial insight that there are things in the psyche which I do not produce, but which produce themselves and have their own life. Philemon represented a force which was not myself. In my fantasies I held conversations with him, and he said things which I had not consciously thought. For I observed clearly that it was he who spoke, not I. . . . Psychologically, Philemon represented superior insight.”
